Fanny's Heart Part II
"Fanny, I've got some good news for you." Grandma called out to Fanny as she stepped inside. Fanny lifted up her grumpy face. "What is it?"
"Well, Mrs. Simmons had set up a Sunday School program for you guys. It's going to be very fun and I know you are going to like it, so I signed you up." Fanny smiled delightfully. "I would like it very much!"
"Good," Grandma said. She added, "You should thank Mrs. Arson for it. She told me on the way to the market. Marie is coming, too. Aren't you glad?" With that, Fanny stomped out of the room and slammed the door to her bedroom. Grandma looked silently after her. It wasn't good news for Fanny after all.
On sunday morning, Fanny had on her pretty new dress with blue edges and fluffy sleeves. She skipped for a whole block. Then her pace slowed down as she approached the white seminary. She hid timidly behind her grandmother while they entered the huge white seminary. Miss Simmons's soft voice eased her anxiety almost immediately. Fanny even answered some questions correctly! When the teacher quizzed them on the verses in the Bible, she surprisingly memorized the verses word by word. Miss Simmons praised her and put her on the advanced class.
The advanced class only had three people, Fanny felt proud. That Sunday was a good day for her, even Marie's dress wasn't as pretty as hers. The other girls' dresses all had faded colors or patches of clothes. She looked down at them in triumph. Now she is doing what Marie had done to her in school everyday!
Miss Simmons taught the advanced class. Her soft, gentle voice and cheerful attitude won the children's hearts immediately. When the class was over, the children did not want to go. "Do you like Miss Simmons, Fanny?" Marie whispered. "Yes, I like her very much." "She isn't a bit proud, either." Marie added with true admiration.
Days and days passed, the students' love for Miss Simmons grew more and more. Sunday came to be Fanny's favorite day of the week. Every Saturday night, she would be extremely joyous and would always prepare for the next day's lesson. Fanny had also came to hate schoolwork less and less, at least for Sunday School works. The reason was because all the questions Miss Simmons always answer patiently and all the lessons were always explained thoroughly.
Fanny used to think of herself as a dumb little girl, but that was because she did not completely understand the concept of the lesson. However, Miss Simmons had a certain way of making boring lessons fun and understandable. How can Fanny not like Miss Simmons's lessons?
Miss Simmons also liked Fanny. She wanted to brighten up Fanny's life. Fanny knows that. Fanny loves Miss Simmons. Other people say Fanny is stupid, but not Miss Simmons. As long as the children listen and understands her lessons, she is pleased. She praise them for every little things they had done correctly. Miss Simmons wants the children to know one thing: learning and being wise is to honor the Lord, not to compete who is smarter or who is better.
Marie had also finally came to understand that wisdom is a gift granted by God and that she is to use it wisely in furthering the work of God. Fanny also learned that although she had only half of the talent of Marie, she just need to do whatever God says. By that, she can bless many people, she had no need to be jealous of Marie.

Fanny's Heart Part I
This is a story of Fannie, a little girl who learned to love God and to forgive and forget.
Fanny lived in a small house with her grandma, her dad, and her brother Charles. They were content with the way they lived. However, Fanny's heart was troubled.
Ever since her mother died, she had been sent living with a foster guardian. The guardian did not teach her many of the things she should have learned. She also did not treat Fannie well. Overall, the 5~6 yrs. Fanny lived with the guardian had not been the most pleasant times.
When her father had found a good job, he took Fanny to live with him.
Fanny attended the school there. Since the guardian did not teach her many of the things she should have learned, she was slow in understanding the lessons. To make matters even worse, a classmate named Marie was especially intelligent and was beautiful with soft golden curls and mild blue eyes. Marie loved to criticize Fanny in front of others. Fanny could only sit silently glaring at Marie with anger boiling up.
One recess, Fanny was looking at a picture book. Marie, Jane, and Libby were playing a game. They were one person short.
"Let's take Fanny." Jane suggested. Marie scoffed, "Fanny? She is ever so stupid. Let's take little Martha, she is much more intelligent." Hearing this, Fanny was even more angry. Little Martha played and played with the other three girls. When the game was ended, Martha walked over to Fanny and asked if she could read the picture book.
"Go away!" Fanny shouted, releasing all the anger she had been holding. Martha silently left.
After recess, there was sewing class. When Marie had to go by Fanny to get her needle. Fanny blocked her with her leg. The sewing teacher was not pleased with Fanny and rebuked her severly. Fanny felt crushed.

Accept Jesus as Savior!
My friends, whether you are a buddhist, or an Islam, listen to me. There is only one true God. And he loves you. He had send his son Jesus Christ to die for you. God had created this world. He had created you and gave you the neccessities of life. I recommend you read the Bible for further information. For He is the only God. The One True God.
